An Healthy Recipe: Protein Pudding!
Welcome back everyone! I am back with another post about our technology course. It was about time for us to create a video to enrich our digital literacy! This week we were assigned to create a video in groups of two or three, and I have once again paired up with my fellow friend Ahmet Alper Aydoğdu (feel free to visit his blog as well!). We made a video about a healthy, nutritious, and delicious pudding. If you are interested, please be sure to check out the video!
Design Process:
We were give three options to create a video, and we chose to record an procedural video. As for the subject, we went for creating a recipe video for a healthy pudding which is also suitable for athletes because both me and my pair are currently doing fitness as a hobby. It is an area that we are both interested and knowledgeable. Consequently, the design process was rather fun from recording to narrating and editing. I recorded the video which demonstrates the recipe and my pair narrated it.
Recording:
It was the fun overall; however, I have experienced some difficulties regarding the camera angles and light conditions. As a result I have used my creativity and improvised in the given situation. Overall, I am content with the outcome.
Narration:
The narration was done by my friend. We again have used the tool called "vocaroo" because it offered the best sound quality among other voice recording applications. As a result of our previous experience with podcast recording, finding the environment to do the narration was rather easy.
Editing:
My pair and I have done the editing together. As we spend more and more time with digital literacies, editing became easier. Just like last time, we have used an app called "capcut" because of its accesability and simple user interface.
Some Concluding Marks:
Overall I have enjoyed the process as I see myself enrich and advance my digital literacy library. As much as I love the work that we put forward, I also want to hear your opinions about our video and the recipe in general. Feel free to share your opinion in the comments section. Until next time!
