The Key To A Better Internet Environment

Greetings to everyone again! In our course for this week, we had to prepare an infographic about legal issues about technology in general. I have chosen the topic "netiquette" because I personally thought it was the most broad topic that encompasses many issues together.

The Design Proccess:

The design process was rather easy because I got accustomed to such tools that enable you to design and also the website I have used which I will tell you about offers many templates. I have started with reading about the topic "netiquette" in general to get background information. Next, after testing many infographic designing websites, I have chosen the website called piktochart.com. Why? This is because the website offers many affordances such as a built-in icon library and resizeable templates. However, I have come across a minor constraint. Some features were exclusive to premium users. So to supplement the icons that I have used in my infographic, I have also used a website called flaticon.com for more icons. I have used this website specifically because the icons that it offered were in accordance with my expectations regarding their ability to represent the titles better.

My Opinions On The Use Of Infographics In English Classrooms:

After designing the infographic my opinions emerged immediately. I think that infographics in general make even the most complicated topics easier to read and learn. The visuals make it even better! If you read something and see it at the same time, it becomes more memorable even if it is just an icon. Personally, I am looking forward to using them in my future classrooms. What do you think about the infographics in general? Feel free to comment with your opinions down below. Until next time!
