Throughout the history, the view of education has changed and evolved. Until 21st century, the people has been traditionally educated through books and black boards. With the swift progress, the technology has been implemented; however, it is very different from the traditional education. 


Misconception About Technology Usage in Education

Despite the common belief, using technology in a classroom is not merely about using projectors and computers to teach knowledge through presentations, it is about purposefully and cooperatively utilizing technology with students. 

Constant Learning:

Technology is everywhere in our life and it is an indispensable feature in our life, it is like a limb of a modern human body. As a consequence, if technology is implemented carefully, the education can be more than just going into a building and listening to an instructor. Moreover because they learn and discover the information by themselves, the learning becomes more concrete.

Productive Students:

In traditional education, students only receive information and barely produce any work. But with the implementation of technology, they are enabled to produce works about their lectures in general. Furthermore according to the Bloom’s Taxonomy, creating -synthesis- requires high cognitive level. As a consequence creating something about a subject can make learners more active and eager. But that is not it! Producing can make their learning more memorable and enjoyable because after they complete a task, the product can be a sign of achievement.

Some Concluding Marks

In general, the new modernized education makes students more active, eager, and productive overall. It will be interesting to see how education will develop in the next years.
