What Is the Purpose?

 First of all, I welcome you to my blog page. This is my first post here and I will do more in the next at least few months. I have opened this blog because of one of my department courses named “Instructional Technologies and Material Design In English Language”. This course requires us to produce some digital literacy about our field in general such as podcasts, infographics, digital stories etc. As a consequence, I will share my work here on my blog page so if you are interested, stay tuned for my posts!

  Greetings everyone! I am back with another post. In our Current Issues in Teaching course this week, as groups, we were required to create a corpus-based worksheet as well as a lesson plan based on the ASSURE model, both of which I will explain later in this post. I grouped up with my friends Ahmet Alper Aydoğdu , Rabia Çimen , and Mihriban Çizme (feel free to check out their blogs as well!) for the completion of the assignment. A new way of teaching: Flipped language classroom approach!

Greetings everyone, and welcome back to another post! This week, we were required to create a video material based on the flipped classroom approach for our Current Issues in Education course. You may ask: What is a flipped classroom? I will answer your question later in this post! But first, I want to discuss the assignment itself. We were required to be in pairs or groups, so once again, I paired up with  Ahmet Alper Aydoğdu (check out his blog as well!) to accomplish the given assignment. The Design Process: After we were assigned, two choices were given; we either had to create a grammar-based video material, which was said to be done in groups, or a vocabulary-based video material to be done in pairs. Virtual/Augmented Reality Has A Place in Language Classrooms!

  Greetings, everyone, and welcome back to another post! This week, we were required to create material that utilizes augmented reality for our Current Issues in Education course. Before discussing the design process, I want to discuss the assignment itself. We were required to be in groups, so once again, I grouped with Ahmet Alper Aydoğdu , Mihriban Çizme , and Rabia Çimen (check out their blogs as well!) to complete the assignment.
